Development 4: Postmortem

Ultimately this is game that's garnered the most suggestions from my peers without prompt. To explain this better, every game that I've shown to people gets responses like "cool" or "I would play this when its done." This game, however, got responses like "you could add multiplayer" or "there should be big kids that you can delegate tasks to" or "what if you could incorporate an exterminator" or "the parent could get stung and then you could play as another kid," etc. It felt awesome that it wasn't a flat response, it was a conversation that told me "other people can see what you're going for and they're behind it." It's shaped how I want my games to be received in the future. I don't necessarily want more ideas from people, but I want people to see it and go "Yes, I get it, and I like it, and this is what I want to see from it," because then I'll know that they're fully bought in.
